Recently had the honour of photographing two of my favourite people in the world get married. Anyone who knows Jamal and Mali will tell you what incredible energy they have and how kind they are to everyone around them. They chose to have a private ceremony just the two of them, and I feel super grateful that me and @breakpointmediauk were there to be witnesses and document the day.

@eddymaynard didn’t start with access. He made one. At 15, a camera was just a reason to be there. A way into rooms, into noise, into something that felt like it mattered. While everyone else stood on the outside, he stepped in. Eddy doesn’t just photograph shows, he moves through them. In the pit. In the crowd. Earning trust, sharing space, feeling it before framing it. The images don’t chase chaos, they live inside it. Emotion and disorder, held for a split second before they disappear. Fifteen years later, nothing’s changed. The camera still gets him in. The people are still the reason. Read the full interview in Veros Magazine. Spring issue available April 30 at veros.art
