Back in 2023 I had the opportunity to work alongside four amazing creatives.
Two years ago we lost Edie Barker, Edie your passion now lives on through the lens, You were hardworking, fierce, quirky and professional. We delayed this project for a decent amount of time because we didn’t know if the time was right, we needed a sign. Today you live on forever.
We think about you everyday, you will always be in our hearts.
Creating a film where we couldn’t hear your voice was one of the most challenging obstacles to overcome.

My role on this beast was small — but being in the presence of these people taught me more than I could’ve ever imagined.
From landing on the Big Island and being greeted by a glowing ball of magma streaking down Kīlauea,
to standing in the pouring rain on the lava fields of Kalapana...
this is something I’ll cherish forever.
