Fell up the stairs before my (awesome) spot last night (shout out to the one guy who saw me manage not to spill my pint), and this morning my knee and hip are on fire.
Cannot believe it’s been one whole year since I started doing standup. It’s been an absolute riot - I’ve killed, I’ve died, I’ve done “okay”.
I’ve also put on about 3 stone because of the beer.
Here’s to the next year where I’m gonna embrace soda and lime, a tighter five with a sloppy ten, and continue meeting and hanging out with some awesome people.
I always find the folk at @foolandcomedy so supportive and it’s become my favourite place to workshop new stuff. Not ALL of it gets to leave the room, but I’m always really happy with the stuff that does.
