for many of us, the new year represents a time of change: a time to move away from the old and practice the new. but just like caterpillars becoming butterflies, change doesn’t always happen in one clean, easy-to-see moment. it’s gradual—and often painful—as we fight to let go the old parts of us.
2021 was a lot of that for me: i learned to let go of the material and petty—to let those parts of myself die—as i made room to embrace the slow. as i learned how to choose abundance. to find peace.
may 2022 hold room for our continued growth 🌱 i hope this year makes us all free~

what a journey falling back in love with dance has been 💜
