On June 29th I got to marry my favorite person in the whole world! The past 13 years with @ed4equity have been nothing short of magical, and to finally take this next step felt so perfect. The privilege of being able to have our wedding at our home was more than I could have ever hoped for or imagined. I’m so insanely grateful for the life we’ve built and continue to build together. To everyone who helped make it happen and made it so special, I wish there were words to convey my appreciation. Thank you from every ounce of myself. To everyone who accepted our invitation: thank you for creating such an energetic space of love that I still have a hard time believing even happened. To everyone we wish we could have invited: thank you for understanding that we did our best and having a wedding at home creates some space obstacles. The guest list is the hardest part of a wedding, period. We look forward to sharing other parts of our life with you. I thought of so many branding names for my new endeavors as a real estate agent, helping people create rental spaces, food and lifestyle content, and I just kept thinking about how much I love bringing the sense of “home” to myself and other people and kept coming back to the simple “Home With Pauly.” I thought about changing my social media name, but I’m not going to until paulydavid finally sees my message and hopefully lets me have the name. I’ve been ready to combine my love for entertainment, entertaining and real estate for a long time and passing the (hard) real estate exam finally gave me the push to do so. Thank you @househunterla for signing me and encouraging my creativity and sometimes unconventional approaches. Having you as our real estate agent for buying our own properties proved to me that we work really well together and inspired me to finally get the license. Thank for your immediate trust. I know your vetting process for agents is thorough and I’m honored to be part of the team. @ed4equity , thank you for helping me study even though you, incorrectly, said I was your worst student ever. I wouldn’t have passed without your help. Thank you, as always, for supporting all of my weird ideas.

15 years ago today I went to Oil Can Harry’s in Studio City and my life changed forever. As I was singing a masterpiece rendition of “Viva Las Vegas” a cutie with a shaved head and the best smile ever caught my eye. We kept looking at each other and eventually I approached him (he will say he approached me, but be for real. Also neither of us are exactly shy, so…I’ll give him this for today) and gave him my number and our first date was the next day at Disneyland. I knew from the beginning there was something different and special about him and our connection. The past 15 years have been perfect. I’ve learned so much about how I want to be in relationships, how I want to be for myself and how I want to show up and be a good husband to Ed. All of this has made my life infinitely better and I’m so grateful. We even manage to find growth in times that make us uncomfortable. I say it all the time: I am the luckiest person in the world. Getting to share life with Ed only confirms that more. Our life is so charmed and SO FUN! I’m grateful that he laughs at my dumb jokes. I’m grateful that he makes endless puns. Endless. I love that we have a space where we can invite the people we love and we don’t need events to do it. I love that we got married at our home. Ed is unwaveringly supportive of all of the weird things I want to do. Some successful, some not, but always backed by his enthusiastic support. His dedication to making himself a better person every day is inspiring and so cool to watch in real time. His dedication to education, and helping to make the next generation stable and confident leaves me speechless every day. He’s way goofier than you might think and I LOVE that I get to see that silly side of him all the time.
Monks, I choose you today and every day, and this is the first 15 of many years. I love you more than EVERYTHING!

One thing I love about doing life with @ed4equity is that we always verbally express our gratitude and how lucky we are in life all the time.
