My students had their first movie premiere last night, and seeing the look on their faces as they watched themselves on that big screen was incredible.
You could see the pride. You could feel it. They weren’t just watching a film — they were watching their hard work, their creativity, and their belief in themselves come to life.
When you come from the hood, you don’t always know how you’re going to make it out. But if you stay positive, stay focused, and do the right thing, your chances get better. Real opportunities start to show up.
The look on their faces meant EVERYTHING to me.
This is just the beginning.

I met one of OG’s daughters today, He been locked up 25 years he went to Jail when she was in her mom stomach or like 1 years old, Her dad from my hood and the TRUTH! This Girl energy was so genuine and had so much positive energy shit just was a great feeling. She said “You know my dad, he told me you was Solid” He says so many good things about you” That shit really made my day! ❤️ @224cozy_
