okey so I wanted (initially) to make something related to this quote. i've been thinking quite a bit about it, the limitation we put on ourselves, how fear behaves and what it keeps us from achieving. i wanted to play around with the concept and make something in relation to different fears, but this just went a bit too far and I ended up using the quote as an excuse to basically experiment with different animation techniques and styles. there's not much concept behind this, no inteligent deep meaning or anything - i just had a bit of fun with it and learnt quite a few things. the process was a bit long. I didn't record any of it - it was a bit all over the place.
i kinda like the eclectic (no pun intended) mess this is, and i hope you appreciate it too. leave in the comments the slide you liked the most or the one you definitely hate the most too 🫶 and if you have any questions leave it in the comments too. as always, i will try to help you in any possible way I can :)
btw: i could have posted these as different posts and I would have had like 12 or 13 different posts, but yeah doing things algorithmically sucks (kinda looser move) and also i've been wanting to make a really messy long project for quite a few now so here it is. loveeeeee!

saw this documentary about Bascquiat like a week ago and there was this fragment which was taking about his philosophy. apparently, he didn’t waste time. that’s why the day he got to meet Andy Warhol somebody took a polaroid picture of them, and instead of staying there to eat something or whatever, he went and painted a portrait out of the picture. he came back a few hours later, with the finished painting, which was still wet. he didn’t think - he just took action instantly.
soon as i finished that documentary i started doing this, a bit of blender, simple text on top, a bit of editing. boom. (the crappy “sound design” was made by me. cheap cheap)
also - lately i tend to be a bit more relaxed, and i end up taking quite some time to make something to post, but taking into account the topic for this design, i wanted to make it as fast as i could. here you go

I didn't know what to post today until I saw a picture of a traffic jam and I thought about making a car that flies. maybe I put the focus too much on the animation and not on the design itself, but you know. this is it. funny thing? i'm feeling creatively stuck for like a week now so this is facts. also, you don't have to stop. that's also facts.

un poco de lo q fueron los primeros meses del año trabajando con los chicos de @caliopefamily
diseñé el escudo y la portada para emblema, un terrible discazo de hip hop argentino, y quedó una banda (una bannnnnnda) de material en el tintero. últimamente estoy en contra de que todo quede en el tintero así que paso a compartir lo que quedó y también gran parte (graaan parte) de lo que no. espero que les guste y les cope el album que es un discazo increible. por ahí me comentaron que se ve muy argentino y muy federal así que considero que hicimos bien la tarea.

volví, entre el lunes y hoy estuve probando unos presets que armó mi amigo @kapu.one en figma (lo q sabe este chad!!!) y usé el album de kanye como excusa. me autoimpuse meterle 1 solo color y nada más. toda la demás magia que se ve es gracias a kapu q es talentosísimo y un super manija nivel extreme
los puntitos los hice con una tool q armé con claude. quería replicar un poco lo q hace el plugin de after stipple pero una versión más pobretona y tercermundista. tiene algo q me gusta un montón igual

loko estoy re desaparecido y me da bronca así q decidí hacer estas pavaditas en mis ratos libres (que últimamente son pocos y casi nulos) y subirlas así de un tirón. son algunas frases q de alguna manera fueron surgiendo o fui anotando durante la semana (canciones, desvaríos de índole propia, etc) y la intención era jugar un poquito con los gradientes. creo q estába claro no? en fin

martin supremo papá, la película del año merecía algún diseñito y acá está. un mes tarde pero priorizaré a mi propio ritmo circadiano antes que a una cuestión algorítimica q cada vez me aburre y me repele más.
me gustó la onda japón para cambiar un poquito con todas las cositas hermosas q estuvieron haciendo algunos de ustedes de la peli. todos los textos tienen sentido y nada de esto fue hecho con ia (lo traduje con google translate porque ante todo soy un tipo de la vieja escuela). el layout armado en illustrator (viejazo) y hot stamping y emboss con blender.
espero q les guste y q los amigos de ECHIGO TSURUKAME no se enojen porque me inspíré mucho (muuuucho, ctrl c + ctrl v) en su etiqueta. gracias

llegamos!!! tenía altas expectativas con este (la idea de hacer un diseño partido en dos me atraía) pero la carrera contra el tiempo me llevó a optar por resolver.
está bueno tener en cuenta lo que uno tiene, lo que sembró y lo que cosechó, y enfocarse en agradecer por lo (mucho) que hay. a mis amigos y mis afectos les mando mi cariño y mi amor, y espero que les guste a todos!!!
(si leyeron esto y llegaron al final de los slides (nadie lo hace) hacemelo saber y brindaré por vos no te lo pierdas no te cobro nada)

este era quizá el diseño que menos me gustaba de todos, pero es increíble como las cosas mejoran con un ratito de silla y unas texturas en 8k. tampoco es una pintura de monet, no me malinterpreten, pero al menos está presentable. y creible. no es poco.
ahora carrera contra el tiempo a ver si llegamos con el restante antes del primero. difícil pero no imposible.
