Happy anniversary to @kdguadalupe , this year was a rollercoaster! Wouldn't want to do this with anyone else! Glad we got to spend some time out in the mountains going on an adventure! ☺️
It was time to say goodbye and I am forever grateful to be there for her. The moment was ugly and beautiful at the same time.
It was ugly because the finality is heart wrenching, scary, and a realization that we will truly miss her presence.
At the same time there was a warmness and beauty in the moment. We were there for her to the end, as she had been there with us over the wonderful years and for the countless amazing moments that we got to shared with her.
Emmy was the best cat for us, she was and will forever be family.
Bike Month is off to a great start in Durham! Had a blast riding with the community!

It felt bittersweet handing the keys over, 6 wonderful years in this house with @kdguadalupe ! It was part of some of our big moments! Got our wonderful cat, we both made it through grad school, got through the pandemic, had a wedding, and housed us through the birth of our son! Lots of board game nights, baking and all other fun things in between, so long old friend! 🥲
2024 was full of ups and downs, but I'm super grateful for the milestones we've reached this year! We've had a wonderful first year with our kiddo, promotions for both of us, and we now have a home we can call our own! What an incredible year for this lil family, and we're looking forward to the next! 🥰

First campout for the kiddo! We had such a blast despite all the challenges. Definitely puts into perspective how much communication and effort it takes for both parents in order to make it work! It also really helped to be surrounded by supportive and wonderful friends. ☺️🙏🏾
