@theescondite is the kind of DTLA spot that doesn’t ask for attention but it pulls you in anyway... Tucked away in the Arts District, it’s a tight no frills room where the lights stay low, the drinks stay strong and the sound hits way bigger than the space should allow. It’s built for close up chaos, sweaty energy and bands that don’t need polish to make impact.
On May 16th, Echo Spine steps in with the homies @oolak__ bringing that heavy atmospheric punch straight into DTLA heat... Joining the lineup is the lovely @mizerykitty from the band @mizfortunette carrying that raw edge and emotional voltage, along with @cranium_official_ out of Atwater CA another Central Valley name adding weight to a bill that doesn’t waste time easing in.
This isn’t a background music kind of afternoon. It’s a matinee for people who want their weekend started early, loud and a little unhinged in the best way. An outdoor patio stage full of bands that hit different, packed into a bar that thrives on being up close and personal.
DTLA peeps pull up... This isn’t a "watch from the side" situation… it’s a "jump in and feel it" kind of day.
