Don’t know why I love you, sang by Thelma Houston and wrote by Stevie Wonder, Lula Mae Hardaway, Don Hunter and Paul Riser. Classic 70s. Proper production.

This record really has been through it over the last couple years. I found out the hard way that stacking records up is an easy way to warp them. I find it it quite funny that the warping has made the raw underground difficult to mix in and embrace the challenge every time I play it!

A record @paddy____c found yesterday in @palais_de_danse_wax a tune I remember dancing to as a kid so when I was flicking through the funk/disco crate I decided I needed to have it! #disco #dancing #vinylcollecting

Listening to this track after hearing @sadarbahar play it in his vinyl set on Saturday. A proper masterclass. Later that night I got back and watched his interview on YouTube and started digging his sets and selections. He brought a really nice disco feel building it up for @soundsignature and then @moodymann313 which was a great progression though disco with heavy percussion and Afro rhythms, and deep Detroit/Chicago house bringing that raw energy. πŸ™ŒπŸ»
