We holed up at @echoplant studio where we dove deep into the nitty gritty of recording a track that is near and dear to each of our hearts: Salt Around The House.
A song steeped in story, ancestral inheritance, badass sass, and humble reckoning.

“So What?” probably went through 10 different choruses before we landed on this one.
We just couldn’t get it to feel right.
But once we stopped trying to make it clever and just let it be what it was, it finally clicked.

@alfiethetoyaussie started howling during the vocal demo for Howlin’ at the Moon and it weirdly worked.
We kept it in.
