2025 haben sich die beiden Wiener Open Ultimate Frisbee Teams thebigEZ und Forward zusammengeschlossen, um gemeinsam eine neue Struktur im Wiener Frisbeesport zu schaffen. Aus diesem Zusammenschluss entstanden zwei Teams, die sich gegenseitig ergänzen und gemeinsam wachsen: Echo und Rumble.
In 2025, the two Vienna Open Ultimate Frisbee teams thebigEZ and Forward merged to create a new structure for Frisbee sports in Vienna. From this merger, two teams were formed that complement each other and grow together: Echo and Rumble.
Echo verfolgt einen leistungsorientierten Ansatz und wird erstmals an der WUCC 2026 teilzunehmen. Das Team richtet sich an Spieler:innen, die sich im kompetitiven Umfeld weiterentwickeln wollen und bereit sind, hohe Trainingsintensität und taktische Tiefe mitzutragen.
Leistung und Entwicklung gehen dabei Hand in Hand – getragen von einer starken Teamkultur.
Echo takes a performance-driven approach and will compete at WUCC 2026 for the first time. The team is aimed at players who want to develop in a competitive environment and are ready to commit to high training intensity and tactical depth.

Two weeks ago, Echo hit the field for our first EUCS tournament of the season – Spring Tour in Padova 🇮🇹
We faced strong competition and took some tough losses against great teams. Not the results we hoped for, but plenty of lessons learned and motivation gained.
We’re coming out of this with a 28th place EUCS ranking — and a clear focus on what’s next.

🇦🇹 Austrian Nationals Recap 🥏
Last weekend, Echo & Rumble showed up strong at Austrian Nationals!
🔥 After solid pool play, we met each other in a high-stakes semifinal matchup. 💥 Rumble finished with a proud 4th place, and Echo marched on to the final.
There, we ended Catchup Graz’s 5-year streak with a dominant 15–11 win — 🥇Österreichischer Staatsmeister 2025 🏆
