A dance floor circle can be fun. You can’t shut it down immediately.
But it can also make the rest of the room feel like spectators instead of participants. My job is not to kill the energy. It’s to shape it and build it.
So I let the moment happen, then bring everyone into it.
“Everybody in the middle.”
Simple. Inclusive. Effective. And this video pretty much says the rest.
This is the kind of dance floor energy I’m always chasing. Not just a few people having a moment, but the whole room feeling invited into it.

There are three things I keep coming back to when I think about what makes a celebration actually work…
Connection. Collaboration. Creativity
Here in New England as a wedding DJ, the music matters deeply, of course. But truth be told - the real magic is not just the songs themselves.
It is in the way the whole damn experience is built. The convos leading up to the wedding. The trust built and earned between us. The ability to listen, digest, and then create a reception that actually feels like the people in the room.
Connection is what lets the dance floor feel alive instead of forced.
Collaboration keeps the communication clear and intentional.
Creativity gives the night personality.
For me, this is the foundation. Real name, no gimmicks. The furthest thing from cookie-cutter. Just a real experience shaped around the couple, the guests, and the kind of celebration people can feel.
Welcome to the Triple C’s. 🎧

There is a massive difference between just playing songs and creatively curating a soundtrack.
As a New England wedding DJ, the goal is never to just “keep music on.” It is about shaping the reception’s energy - in real time. The right record, at the right time, with a funky AF transition, can turn a great dance floor into one of those memories people keep talking about long after the wedding ends.
That is the heart of luxury wedding entertainment. Taste. Timing. Instinct. A private event DJ should not feel like a Spotify playlist on shuffle, it should feel like someone is actually paying attention to every little detail.
This is where the planning conversations, meticulous timing, and earned trust all come together in just the right way.
That’s the job. That’s where I like to live. 🎧

Lately I’ve been making it a real priority to get out there and be in the room.
Hosting, DJing, connecting, supporting, learning, listening, laughing, catching up with old friends, and meeting new ones who feel like they’re already supposed to be part of the story.
This season has reminded me how much actually happens when you show up with intention. Not just posting from behind a screen. Not just sending the quick “we should connect soon” message. Actually being there. Shaking hands. Sharing ideas. Swapping energy. Building trust in real time.
And sometimes, the best part is getting to do all of that with some of my very best friends in the game. People I respect deeply. People who push me, inspire me, and make this whole industry feel less like work and more like a community worth pouring into.
I’ve always believed your network equals your net worth.
Not in a transactional way, but in a very real one. The people around you shape your opportunities, your perspective, your confidence, and your growth.
Feeling grateful for the rooms I’ve been invited into, the ones I’ve helped create, and the people who keep making this ride feel meaningful.
Tiny desk thoughts for your Friday…
Expanding on the idea brought to the table a few months ago, a bride of mine further refined the concept of having an “ambassador to the party.”
Going an additional step, including more friends and family, and calling them:
Table Captains
First off, love it. Second off, love it more. Third…ya tu sabes!
What do you think?

I don’t even know where to start. What happened last night was something special. It wasn’t just an event…it was a room full of love, energy, and amazing people showing up for someone who meant so much to all of us.
Unisa is that kind of person.
The kind who brings people together, and somehow, still does.
To everyone who came out, donated, supported, shared, and poured their all into last night. Thank you. To the moon and back. I feel forever indebted to you all.
You helped create something his family will feel forever. 💜
We felt him in that room. In the music. In the laughter. In the way people connected with each other. Event industry professionals, past brides and grooms, and friends and family all connected because of Unisa.
That doesn’t go away. Nor should it.
Collectively we raised over $14,000 for the family. That’s you. All you! 🥰

We need to take time for special recognition for folks who make engines like this run. If it weren’t for these individuals, it would not have been as successful.

Some people just had it. Unisa was that guy.
The energy. The smile. The way he made you feel like you mattered the second you were around him.
And now…it’s on us.
On Wednesday, April 1st, Hyla Brook Estate in Derry, NH, we’re coming together to celebrate his life the way he lived it…surrounded by love, music, and community.
This night is going to be special.
Catered by the incredible Off The Vine Catering. An unreal silent auction featuring @celtics , @redsox and @zachlanebryan tickets at Gillette. Photography sessions, MedSpa packages, raffles, 360 booth…all of it.
But more importantly, every dollar raised goes directly to support his family.
Here’s the truth.
Time is running out. Tickets are limited. And we need this room filled with the people who loved him.
If you’ve been thinking about coming…this is your sign. Don’t wait. Don’t assume there will be space.
Lock in your ticket today through the link in bio.
And if you’re seeing this and you can’t make it…sharing this post means more than you know.
Let’s show up for Unisa the way he always showed up for us. 🫶🏻
Special thanks to the team making this night possible: @offthevinecatering@hylabrookestate@hayleybryantphotography@kataramstudios@partyexcitement@djtavomexicousa
