MAKING ,CALLA,
our new baby 🐦🔥 well this was one true process of trial & error. and we deeply feel it ended up sooo well. 🤤 from hidden magnets to adjustable straps… the craftmanship and thinking behind - such a subtle (mind boggling) journey it’d been, as seen in the footage and on my face 😹
story:
Calla Bag got its name from the Calla Lily, reflecting its elegance and tranquility.
We are stepping into the new era of the Fire Horse next tuesday on the February 17th, and Calla is mentioned as one of the auspicious flowers of this year by its graceful shape.
What a wonderful time to call the agile and transformative wisdom of this plant. aho!
made to be with you in form of a bag inspired by that graceful shape, upcycled from high quality / vegan all different kinds of leather fabrics, in 7 beautiful colors. 🏵️

introducing 𝘱𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴
a year long story that I’m excited to narrate, wear and keep designing
and it is, officially my third collection 😳
@materialthings.project ’s annual concept for 2026,
wishing to offer an intentional circulation of any kind (that’ll be your call),
and a stylish, goofy touch to our looks with again beloved upcycled goodies, including new designs ☄️ (::!applause)
Humility is a posture, I believe.
And poetry is the grass beneath our feet.
Interaction, attribution, time —
the three things that became my north star
since I began to feel this project
to be the grass that I want to grow,
to guide me/us when it’s needed to realign with the why.
in bridging this web of relations
all word games led me to “poetrify things”
not a noun kind name, as we’re used to seeing in collections, but a call.
A tool to do exactly that
it felt tributary - a stream flowing into a larger one, through vocalized, read and worn lullabies
It is a long way
and we have no rush
sooo friends
Please poetrify the way you carry everything, including your bags
Because we’ve got a story to tell
