Two big additions to the 100 Back this year, both in the Top 10!
Freshman Koichiro Ambe’s time placed 11th at the state meet this year, and sophomore Olivia Mozian’s time comes from her lead off split of the 400 Medley Relay!
A couple entries onto the 200 Free from this season! Sophomore Olivia Mozian broke through the 2:00 barrier for the first time in a HUGE way and took 7th at the state meet to land 6th!
Freshman Alex Thornton led off the 800 Free Relay at the PCC/ELAC Invite and moved up to 11th!
In addition to the two men who made the list (see school record post), freshman Jasmine Eskander also made the women’s Top 15 for the 100 Fly this year at the PCC/ELAC Invite!
The Men’s 400 Medley Relay team took 8th and medaled at the state meet this year with the #2 time overall in program history and just the second group to ever get under the 3:30 mark!
Next up, we have two new additions to the Splash & Dash this year!
Freshman Alex Thornton went his #6 time leading off the 200 Free Relay at the Pasadena Invite, while freshman Francesca Pinillos tied the 15th time with her 50 Free at SCC’s, placing 5th in the event!
In the 200 IM this year we had four additions to the Top 15, two on the women’s side and two for the men, all four as freshmen!
Monica dropped time in prelims at the state meet to qualify 15th!
We have two additions to the Top 15 this year for the Women’s 500 Free! Sophomore Olivia Mozian took 5th at the state meet and her time is now 4th in program history!
Freshman Jasmine Eskander’s time came from SCC’s and is also in the Top 10 all-time!
We are going to go through all of the Top 15/10 updates from this season, starting with the the 200 Free Relay where the men’s team won this event at SCC’s and are the 4th fastest relay in program history!

We had a new program record set today at Day 2 of the 3C2A State Championships!! 🔥
Freshman Alex Thornton first broke the record in prelims (50.93) and then again in finals to become the first male swimmer in ECC history to go sub 51 in the 100 Fly!
ECC men’s 100 Fly has been cooking recently as 7 of the Top 15 times in this event have come in the last 3 seasons, including the top four times ever with fellow Freshman Gio Wheeler finishing the season 4th all-time. 🦋🔥
