The LGBTQIA+ Pride Center and GSA Club are excited to invite you to participate in El Camino College’s 2026 Pride Week, taking place May 17–22, 2026.
Pride Week is a celebration of community, visibility, joy, and belonging. Throughout the week, we will come together to honor and uplift our LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, staff, and allies through a series of educational, celebratory, and community-centered events.
This year’s theme, “Love Out Loud. Live Out Proud.” reminds us that visibility matters now more than ever. In a time when LGBTQIA+ communities continue to face challenges across the country, Pride Week serves as a powerful reminder that all students deserve to feel seen, supported, valued, and celebrated.

Wednesday, May 20 – Reading the Rainbow: An Afternoon of Queer Literature

Whether you attend to celebrate, learn, support students, or simply be in community, your presence matters.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, ourece will lead a Flower Arrangement Workshop (Thursday, May 21) to encourage students, staff, and faculty to create new floral worlds that reflect the meaning of love in their lives - including guided prompts to foster thoughtful conversations and connections to engage with book chapter themes, including greed, communal care, and mutuality.
