🌼 An ode to the wildflowers I found along the winding roads of Rhodes, beneath the quiet presence of Mount Attavyros.
As a flower lover, you can probably guess why spring has always been my favourite season. There’s something about wildflowers growing freely along ancient hillsides, untouched, uncurated, completely at home in the landscape.
I found myself constantly stopping along the way just to admire them. My camera roll quickly became filled with tiny blooms and soft spring details, because honestly, my eyes simply couldn’t get enough of it all.

⛴️ Second destination stop with Explora II brought me into the old medieval town of Rhodes, where every stone lane led to another little discovery. Between atmospheric bars, tucked-away restaurants, linen boutiques, ceramic stores and jewellery shops, I spent the afternoon happily zipping in and out with absolutely no shopping discipline.
The honey-toned walls, grand arches and centuries-old streets feel like stepping into another era… only with much better shopping and gelato. Also wandered into the Palace of the Grand Master for a short tour before somehow returning with ceramics, table linens, jewellery, and several things I definitely did not plan to buy.

My first stop with Explora Journeys:
📍Paros,a quaint little island with the charm of old Greece and the effortless glamour that quietly reminds me of Mykonos. Whitewashed lanes, blue accents, tiny boutiques tucked into every corner, and bougainvillea cascading so beautifully it almost feels staged for postcards.
What I loved most was how every destination with Explora feels intentionally different. One day it’s slow island mornings with coffee and sea breeze, the next it’s stepping into an entirely new rhythm, culture, and atmosphere. Less rushing through ports, more truly soaking in the mood of each place.
Spent the afternoon wandering the charming streets with a gelato in hand, soaking in the sea breeze and slow island rhythm, exactly the kind of Mediterranean summer mood I had imagined.

⛴️ Starting my maiden voyage aboard the Explora II, 7 nights drifting through the Mediterranean in unapologetic luxury. Already wondering if regular holidays will ever feel the same again.

Hello Athens. It’s been 35 years, and somehow, seeing the Acropolis of Athens still feels a little unreal.
After wandering through the official Seven Wonders of the World, I suppose I’ve accidentally started collecting places that feel like wonders in their own right. And towering above the city, the ancient stones of the Parthenon certainly earn their place on that list for me.
There’s something about Athens, a little chaotic, a little romantic, layered with thousands of years of stories, where dinner comes with a view of history itself. 35 years later, and she still glows like the centrepiece of the world.

Somewhere along the way, motherhood turned into sibling energy.
For those still in the thick of sleepless nights and school runs, hang in there. One day, you’ll look over and realize the babies grew into your favorite people to laugh through life with.
Maybe that’s the reward of growing up together.
