This is Niger state in Nigeria. One of the beautiful places in a country plagued with insecurity. A few days after this trip I took to Niger state, another fresh attack happened. An unknown number of pupils were abducted by armed men from a Catholic school in this same place, marking the second school kidnapping in less than a week.

One of the highlights was an inspiring session led by Tom Oldham @tommyophoto , which I genuinely enjoyed.

I’ve been navigating life, discovering who I am, and creating paths where none were made for me. Through it all, I’ve genuinely enjoyed the journey, even on the days when it felt like the ship might sink. Still, I’m grateful. And every day, I choose gratitude.
Skillshare’s teacher meet-up in London was absolutely fun!
I also led a Color Hunt Photo Walk, built around one simple idea, color. A reminder to slow down, pay attention, and create from what’s already around you. No pressure, no heavy theory, just seeing differently.
There’s something beautiful about meeting a family you’ve known virtually for a while, in person. This one felt like home. You could feel the love in the room, and that stayed with me.
Thank you to the team for putting together such a smooth event, I enjoyed every bit of it. And to every teacher who flew in from different parts of the world just to be there, you’re amazing!
