It’s few days to my birthday.
This clip was from my first comedy special “The First and Last”. I had just started pastoring for about a year at the time. I would often get the excited curiosity from lovers of my standup who wondered what this phase would be like and of course, sneers from some church folk to whom my existence shattered their entire theology 🤣
I wasn’t phased by neither of the divide then nor even now because what was important to me was chiefly, the Will of God and then secondly His Divine purpose for my life.
I was comfortable walking a path not popular because there has never been an Ebuka MIC and there will never be another.
For you out there, being led through an unpopular path and you know that God is the one leading you and you are not going against His Holy Scriptures. Step out with your full chest! Don’t be afraid of what you think you will lose. Think of what is there to gain. All your questions will be answered along the way. It gets clearer with time✌️
