It’s the little pops of detail that make a house unforgettable. Our More is More home, recently captured so beautifully by the wonderful @_pabloveiga , is filled with Australian natural tones, layered textures, and organic curves that draw you in. And that final shower? It doesn’t just look good; it hugs you back! #EBinteriordesign #LayeredLiving #DesignForSlowMoments #AustralianDesign #CurvesInDesign #LuxuryInteriors

Overtime people rarely remember the layout of a kitchen, but the memories they have shared in it. Especially when designed well. Our focus is always to ensure practical yet aesthetic design, so our clients don’t have to overthink the layout and can enjoy each individual experience.

Warm Minimalism: We have carefully used layering of natural elements alongside effortlessly classic detailing to make our 'Prince Street Penthouse' the ultimate sanctuary. It was important that the spaces felt entirely peaceful. We created this sense of calm with the use of time tested elements such as luxurious oak floorboards, natural stone textures, brushed nickel tapware and fluted glass, all on top of a white and linen toned base palette.

The EB Edit Episode 03 — Materiality Our Interior Designer Karlee Arnold chats about how materiality goes far beyond selecting finishes. It’s about how materials relate. Soft, tactile surfaces against the sharpness of steel. An aged stone beside a clean, refined line. A balance between sheen and matte… reflection and absorption. Because light doesn’t just land, it moves across surfaces. And it’s in that movement, between materials, that a space comes alive. It’s not just what you choose, but where it sits. Horizontal or vertical. A surface you touch, or one you simply pass by. And always, how it’s experienced by the client. Some materials soften and evolve over time. Others remain consistent, day one to year twenty. Our role is to create balance, whatever the brief, so everything sits together with clarity and intention. Because when materiality is right… a space doesn’t just hold visually. It holds emotionally. #EBEdit #Materiality #InteriorDesignProcess #EBInteriors #DesignDetails

The EB Edit Episode 02 — Balance Associate Holly Kennedy talks on ‘Why perfect symmetry isn’t always the answer…’ Balance is often mistaken for symmetry. And while symmetry can create a sense of order and calm… it’s also the easiest solution. We often see a natural pull, whether from clients or trades, to line everything up. To centre. To match. To resolve quickly. Because it feels safe. But true balance isn’t always found in perfect alignment. It often lives in the intentional shift. A joinery run that doesn’t centre to the wall. A feature that offsets rather than mirrors. A moment that feels slightly unexpected, yet completely considered. There is a real art in knowing when to break symmetry… and how far to push it. Because when asymmetry is done well, it doesn’t feel off. It feels balanced in a deeper, more dynamic way. At EB, we look beyond what feels immediately resolved and design towards what feels right over time. Because when balance is truly achieved… nothing feels too much, and nothing feels like it’s missing. #interiordesign #design #ebinteriordesign #interiorbalance #asymmetrical

The EB Edit Episode 01 - Proportion Director Emma Buchan explains, you don’t always see it… but you always feel it. Proportion quietly shapes how a space is experienced. How you gather, move, lean, pause. Take a bar, for example. Not everything needs to sit at one height. A subtle shift, a rounded table stepping up at one end, creates a place to stand, to gather, to move more naturally… without the entire space feeling elevated or closed off. It’s these decisions that change how a space breaths. The thickness of a horizontal plane. The profile of a joinery edge. The scale of a tile. The lightness of a glass shelf. Even the height of a pendant, a shelf, a seat… or the balance between solid bench space and open moments. Individually, they’re small. Together, they create rhythm. When proportion is resolved, nothing feels forced. Everything sits exactly where it should. At EB, we design beyond what meets the eye, considering how a space is used, felt, and lived in every day. Because the best spaces don’t need to explain themselves. They just feel right. #EBEdit #EBInteriors #InteriorArchitecture #DesignDetails #LayeredLiving

Your bedroom should feel like an exhale. The one room in the home that is truly yours, a place to rest, repair and dream. At EB Interiors, we design bedrooms as sanctuaries. Spaces that slow the pace, calm the mind and invite you to retreat. Because the best design isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about how a space makes you feel. #EBInteriors #BedroomDesign #LayeredLiving #DesignForRest #InteriorDesignAustralia
