The dollhouse cabinet is starting to come together. Spent the last couple days painting, wallpapering, and putting floors in on the upper apartment level. The rooftop apartment shared by the Spooky gals, the belfry, is finished though! Since I could see no possible way of obtaining a rushton marineland whale, I decided to try and make my own version. I sculpted the face in polymer clay, baked it, made a silicone mold of it, and cast the new face for the plush in flexible urethane resin. Painted it up, and stitched it onto the body of a 9 inch seaworld shamu plush from ebay. Gund panda-girl full restoration. Another one I has to dismantle to clean the non-black parts without the black parts bleeding onto them. Also had to remove dye bleed on the white parts of the head from previous washes. She has been fully cleaned abd restuffed with new polyfil stuffing, abd had her face paint touched up. I also sanded an old casting flaw off her cheek and gave the cheeks a nice light blush.
