We are excited to present the second piece featured in Slúchadlo: Sowiesoso by Paul Ebhart. Sowiesoso invites you to pause, disconnect from the city’s rhythm, and turn inward. It offers a clear, unburdened moment shaped by the abstract buzzing of the harmonica — a granular, looped recording intertwined with sounds from the artist’s modular system. The composition creates a space where time seems to slow down and listening becomes an act of presence. Paul Ebhart (DJ Ebhardy) lives and works in Vienna, where he creates a sonic world shaped by deliberate roughness and precise craftsmanship. His work balances between control and release, built from repetition, simple synthetic sequences, and intense signal processing. He is currently a student of TransArts at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. The exhibition is supported by Österreichisches Kulturforum Pressburg Join us for the exhibition opening on Thursday, 11 December 2025 at 19:00. See you there!

„Paul Ebhart is an artist, musician, DJ, and above all, a dedicated collector of sound. Under his long-standing alias DJ Ebhardy, active since his teenage years, he crafts intense DJ and live sets that resist genre definitions. Instead, his sets are shaped by a distinct sense of urgency, rebellion, and attitude—channelling a hypnotic, high-voltage energy that slips between dancefloor euphoria and sonic disorientation. Based in Vienna, Ebhart operates at the intersection of sound, performance, and installation. He studied experimental and electroacoustic music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and TransArts at the University of Applied Arts. His work explores the social, technical, and spatial conditions under which sound is created, transmitted, and experienced. Using body extensions, site-specific interventions, and performative strategies, he investigates how sound is archived, embodied, and reactivated. In 2023, Ebhart released his debut solo album under the moniker THESOSUNG. His output spans both DJ and live formats, appearing on labels such as Osàre! Editions, angels carry guns, Mikro, and Sameheads.
