Nature has a quiet way of calling me back to calm, of reminding me to trust God.. When the noise within grows loud and the discomfort around me feels heavy, I know it’s time to retreat. In those moments, I cast my cares on Him. I lay every burden at His feet and exhale. I realise I carry so much because I forget I’m not alone. Then comes that cool, warm breeze, the kind that wraps around you, tingles your skin, and speaks without words. And I remember… I am not alone. With birds chirping and leaves clapping in quiet applause, something childlike rises in wonder, joy, reassurance. He who walks with God is never alone. Let that sink in.

THE ENCHANTED CONCERT! For a moment, I stepped into a fairy tale. The orchestra became my time machine, carrying me through songs, hymns, and rhymes. Oh my heart… I smiled from ear to ear. Some melodies made my heart flutter, others invited me to pause and ponder. Singing along to familiar tunes, guided by the orchestra, felt like rediscovering old memories wrapped in new magic. The stage held my attention from start to finish. @oluchi_odii was exceptional, and the love story gently woven into the evening was beautiful. And of course, Nigerians and gist? Chai! 😂 Reconnecting with faces I hadn’t seen in years added another layer of warmth to the night. Time slowed down, comedy and laughter filled the air. Time well spent I must say. 🎶 #theenchantedconcert #ryhmes #ochestra #happybirthday🎂 #ebehrita

YOU ARE LOVED... Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart... It feels like “likes”—you know, that little thumbs-up on Facebook—have always been with us. But it turns out that this virtual symbol of affirmation has only been around since 2009.     The “like” designer, Justin Rosenstein, said he wanted to help create “a world in which people uplift each other rather than tear each other down.” But Rosenstein came to lament how his invention might have enabled users’ unhealthy addiction to social media.   I think Rosenstein’s creation speaks to our hardwired need for affirmation and connection. We want to know that others know us, notice us—and, yes, like us. The “like” is fairly new. But our hunger to know and be known is as old as God's creation of man. Still, the like button doesn’t quite get the job done, does it? Thankfully, we serve a God whose love goes so much deeper than a digital nod. In Jeremiah 1:5, we witness His profoundly purposeful connection with a prophet whom He called to Himself. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” God knew the prophet even before conception and designed him for a life of meaning and mission (v. 8-10). And He invites us too into a purposeful life as we come to know this Father who so intimately knows, loves, and likes us.

*Community in Christ* A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12 “I knew that the only way to succeed was to forget about home and my brothers, sisters, and parents,” said Nonso. “I’ve found I can’t do that. They’re woven into the fabric of my heart and soul.” Alone in a remote area, Staa was participating in a reality show where contestants are asked to survive outdoors with minimal supplies for as long as possible. What forced her to forfeit was not the grizzly bears, freezing temperatures, injury, or hunger, but an overwhelming loneliness and desire to be with her family. We might have all the survival skills necessary for the wilderness, but separating ourselves from community is a sure way to fail. The wise author of Ecclesiastes said, “Two are better than one, because . . . one can help the other up”. Christ-honouring community, even with all its messiness, is essential to our thriving. We don’t stand a chance against the trials of this world if we try to tackle them on our own. Someone who toils alone, toils in vain. Without community, we’re more susceptible to danger. Unlike a single thread, “a cord of three strands is not quickly broken”. The gift of a loving, Christ-focused community is one that not only provides encouragement, but also gives us strength to thrive despite challenging situations. We need each other. #community #christ #christiancommunities
