life started moving really fast this past year…I moved back home last january. I needed a reset badly. everything was feeling dead end; I was losing steam at my job and music was becoming a source of stress. I thought I was going to go to grad school in amsterdam but when it came to finding a place to live out there I just didn’t have the money for it, which was no surprise since i’d been recklessly spending.
so things slowed down for a minute while I got back on my feet. I felt really lonely and like i’d failed myself. but I knew I needed to get my ass back in school. that was the original plan and I needed to see it through. I applied to a counseling program that started in the spring, so come sept and oct I was writing essays and interviewing while prepping to come back to california for yoon. and yoon friday morning I got an email I was accepted to the program I had applied to :)
there have been so many times i’ve doubted my path or judged my timing. this life shit is so hard lol. and I miss my SD friends really bad. but i’m also so happy to be here. last slide is how i’ve been spending my alone time for the most part😅 today I got my class schedule for spring semester. i’m excited for music to be a privilege and not an obligation. maaaaaan i’m just grateful to be here. and if you read this whole thing I probably love you💕✌🏼
