One thing people don’t always realise is that interior designers aren’t just there to design your home.
They also make things clear for builders and electricians, which in turn saves you money by minimising mistakes along the way. Interior designers are here to make your life, and the lives of everyone involved in the process, much easier.
It’s so great to see Teni applying everything we went through together in her work and with her clients. I’m confident she’s doing an amazing job and bringing so much value to the people she works with.
For a limited time only, we’re giving Teni’s audience 15% off the full programme with the code TENI15.

Over the past few months, my team and I have been working behind the scenes on making Design Launch even more accessible. We’ve spoken to many of you who want to take the leap into interior design, or who are already on the path but looking for the structure, confidence and support to grow.
It matters to me that this programme is accessible, so we’ve created three new ways to learn, each designed to meet you where you are in your journey.
Design Launch has always been about more than just design, it’s about giving you the tools, guidance and knowledge to build something that’s truly yours. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine and strengthen the work you’re already doing, the programe is there to support you every step of the way.
You can find all the details about the new packages, and what’s included in each one, through the link in my bio.

I started Design Launch to give you the tools and support you need to begin your journey as a designer.
Getting to know you and offering real-time, hands-on support as you evolve as a designer is what makes this so personal for me.
A few more tutor-led spots are now available if you’d like to join.
If you have any questions or need more info, just send me a message.

Hiding radiators isn’t always the answer. In fact, covering them can sometimes create more problems than it solves.
Here, instead of concealing it completely, we embraced it letting the console table frame it.
The top was carefully fitted under the paneling so it feels intentional and built-in, rather than like an afterthought.
It creates a functional surface for styling, while still allowing the radiator to do its job.
Plants in a bathroom are more than decoration. With the right light, they bring softness, personality and a little life to the most practical room in the house.
Texture is one of the most powerful ways to elevate a space.
Here, we introduced a fabric detail inside the closet panel, a subtle shift, but one that completely transforms how the room feels. It adds depth, softness, and a quiet sense of elegance.
Because thoughtful design isn’t always about big changes… it’s often the small, intentional details that bring everything together.
If you want to learn how to incorporate details like this into your own designs with confidence, comment DESIGN or send me a DM and I’ll share how you can work with me.

Behind the scenes of a very exciting install the other week...
We commissioned this set of tiles from the talented @petraborner to adorn this stairwell.
The series drew inspiration from the controlled, vegetal designs of 19th century English designer, William de Morgan, but blended these references with Petra’s own abstract floral forms.
Being able to work with artists to create custom artworks for a space is always a great privilege and this was no exception. This series of ceramic tiles is a beautiful addition to an already great home.
Thank you Petra for the beautiful work.

Trends are everywhere… but they should never lead your design.
As a professional designer, your role isn’t to follow what’s popular, it’s to understand it. Trends often come from wider cultural shifts, then get amplified through marketing and social media. And yes, your clients may be influenced by them.
But being aware is very different from being guided.
Your decisions should come from your expertise, your eye, and what truly works for the space and the person living in it, not what’s being pushed as “in” this season.
Because great design lasts longer than any trend ever will.
If you want to build that level of confidence in your own design decisions, comment DESIGN or send me a DM and I’ll share how you can work with me.

There’s something really special about a home that tells your story.
These hand-painted tiles weren’t chosen just for how they look, but for what they represent, personality, memories, and a space that grows with you over time.
Because great design isn’t about creating something “picture perfect”… it’s about creating something that feels personal, layered, and truly yours.
If you want to learn how to design spaces with intention and confidence, send me a DM or comment DESIGN and I’ll share how you can work with me.

Confidence as a designer doesn’t come first, it comes after you start.
It’s built in the doing. In figuring things out as you go.In learning how to communicate your ideas clearly, step by step.
Because that’s what design really is, guiding decisions with clarity.
The more you do it, the more natural it feels. And that’s when confidence starts to grow.
If you’re waiting to feel “ready” before you begin… this is your sign to start.
If you’d like support building your confidence as a designer, I mentor designers through this inside my coaching programme.
Comment “CONFIDENCE” or send me a DM and I’ll share more.
Instead of hiding books, we gave this client , who is an avid reader and loves books, a place to sit their collection of “want to read” - neatly stacked, tidy, accessible, and effortlessly relaxed.
Use mirrors in more that one way to elevate a space ⬇️
Here are 4 ways we’ve used mirrors in some of our previous projects that might inspire your own space.
Mirrors for Every Height
- Use multiple mirrors instead of just one for a playful composition.
- Positioned for different heights so everyone can use them.
- Adds charm and makes a statement
Playing With Scale
- This oversized mirror creates an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ effect. The Scale of the mirror makes the hallway feel larger and more whimsical.
The Floating Effect
- A mirrored foot on the sofa, makes the sofa look less heavy
- Subtle trick of the eye, that changes perception of space.
Doubling the Impact
- Use a pair as one Item. Usually, a pair of mirrors would be on each side of something, or inside alcoves. If you put them close side-by-side, they read as one item with more personality
