✨ the mess dress that became a bless dress ✨
biggest thing i have ever made, i think my lovely voice will explain the full process, but last edit i did was to move up the train so it sits on the waist and not hip. scraps from @bohecoindia
i wanna thank @trny_flr for wearing the dress as i imagined, and looking absolutely magical. thank you @rox.sixtysix and @felicitas.krug for being muses and giving the unfinished dress a magical touch. thank you to @primaveraprimadonna11 and @studio58.231 for enabling this and ofc @cinettica_fashion_festival for giving me a reason to make this dress and @nathaliesandh for ur math and beauty skills 🫶🏼

i can’t hold myself anymoreeeeeeeee, it’s just taking too much time perfecting everything i wanna share so here we go. introducing the
🍄 MUSHROOM HAT 🍄 which was part of the mushroom dress fit for @studio58.231 originally it’s a bucket hat, inspired by a youtube tutorial which i can highly recommend (want me to share it?) made from recycled cotton and polyester yarn. i decided to not make the ends frilly but rather straight and heavier so it would like hang a bit more. for the final look, i added a band taken from the mushroom dress once i cut it a bit, and i also decided to bleach the hat to give it some texture. unfortunately there were more details originally planned but at some point u gotta hold urself back, creating is a never ending story isn’t it!?
loved making this accessory, went fast, smooth, the design is very adaptable and forgiving and it looks adorable on everyone 🧚🏼♀️ also, if u employ me this is probs what i will be doing at work ;)

special thanks to @cinettica_fashion_festival & @primaveraprimadonna11
i’ve been pretty offline but not unproductive ;)
took me a while to sort everything out, long story short: in july, @primaveraprimadona and i got offered to join in on the 6th edition of @cinettica_fashion_festival in berlin last full moon. under the label studio58 we showcased our first collection together which i’m very grateful we went whole heartedly into and motivated us to expand our creative boundaries 🫶🏼
here is a lil movie (listen with headphones!!) capturing the photoshoot we had with @fares.hamade and the beautiful models @rox.sixtysix and @felicitas.krug . some of the pieces are borrowed from an unreleased collection with @bluetuesday.eu as u may see ✨
the theme of this collaborative collection is anxiety, and how anxiety somehow lays a foundation for many things we do. the anxiety of not doing enough, not being able to do enough or not being creative enough. how anxiety drives fear but can also be a force to further deepen the sensations of ecstatic states, which happens when we create, befriend our anxieties or get out of our comfort zone. to read more and see more from this collection have a look at @studio58.231 and soon there should be some more content here about the pieces i made for the collection. hope it triggers your anxiety 🧚🏼♀️
thank you to everyone making this possible <3
this was such a beautiful knitted turtle neck from richmond that i washed in 30 degrees 😭 i thought it would be fine but the horrible mix of nylon and wool didn’t like it. the arms just got too long and yeah i guess u can see i don’t have to explain. the body was fine tho, so i figured i will just cut the arms off and TaDaaaÁ. tbh nothing else was done, i should probs have trimmed it a bit but decided to attach a silk ribbon taken from my scissors to make it a bit more, i guess cute and wholesome(?). also what are the odds the ribbon i had matched the details on my new vest?
thank you for capturing my up-cycled outfit @bytopstoby ✨
another piece that’s been in the wooden picnic box for way too long. i found these pyjama pants (yes it’s proper pyjama pants with no secured fly) at @picknweight in munich. too wide but i loved the textile (pic 2), so i removed the excess crotch textile (pic 4) and sewed in the side seams, ca 4cm on each side of the waist and 2 cm on outer side.
unfortunately i forgot to document the process properly but here’s the final product ✨ let’s see if i give them away or keep ‘em, can’t make my mind up since they been so long not in my life that i haven’t found the need for them properly.
since a couple of years i have been filling up a stuff-i-wanna-remake-for-myself-wooden-picnic-box i found in my moms basement. and my too short graduation dress from zara kids has been in it since my graduation in 2015 🙄
finally it became what i wanted, a two piece with a beautiful skirt that is now one of my favv pieces and that is pretty right in time (considering the crochet trend) and a bit too short top (which might be remade into smth else if i don’t use it too much).
it was alright simple to make, i cut where the “top” ended and became the skirt, i couldn’t open up the seams due to too many layers, thus i had to sacrifice one part becoming shorter, i.e. the top (pic 3) unfortunately there wasn’t enough textile on the skirt to fold and attach the elastic band properly, so i had to cut off a piece of the underskirt hem in order to attach the elastic band (pic 4 before attaching the new textile). for the top i just attached the top crochet part with the underpart and voila i got a pretty sexy-cute two piece.
for as long as i can remember i have been picking up stones, shells and gems from places i travelled and visited. it’s something i picked up from my brother (happy bday btw malcolm<3), and he yet has to tell me what to do with them and how to keep track of where they come from. cause at some point they were just collecting dust in a bag ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so i decided to do something with them. i used old makrame made from bleached hemp rope and kinda tied them together. it probs wasn’t the best method, next time i will use steel thread or similar. but so far i quite enjoy them, they bring some grounding energy to my room 🧚🏼♀️ and even if i might not remember where i picked them up all up, they all tell a story about the places i’ve been <3
all blessings to the new moon motivating me start this new chapter. i’m not sure where the idea came from, the name u might already now (;)) and the journey, i guess we will all get to see what happens. this is not to substitute @bluetuesday.eu and it’s not another monetary project of mine, it’s basically just the page by an ebba who wants to find joy in what she makes, creates, sells, shares and gives to you, the people that support her and are a part of her journey. thank you for already being here and thank you for always believing in me <3
let’s see where this will go 🤞🏼🧚🏼♀️✨
