It has come to my attention that as of today I have officially been cosplaying Stolas for exactly a year 🥹 what better way to acknowledge the occasional than posting this STUNNING photo from @adoylible at Katsucon 😍 I literally could not be more obsessed with a photo than this one !!! Since last July I have made upgrades to my cape and gotten a new wig styled by the insanely talented @oddcatcosplay who is also my Blitzø 🥰 this was such a dream shoot and I can’t wait to work with @adoylible again in the future 🖤

Today is the PERFECT day for me to post the first of my photos from my shoot with @adoylible in galaxys edge!! I’m so happy to finally have photos of Ruu, a transgender Jedi turned vigilante from the high republic! Star Wars is so special to me I can’t even put into words just how much this galaxy far far away means to me. Stories of found family, anti fascism, hope in the face of despair, religious trauma, perseverance, the list goes on. Star Wars has brought me friends all over the world and my very own found family. It has kept me sane when I have felt like my world was falling apart, and has been the most consistent source of comfort my entire life. Anyways. I just really love Star Wars :)

I can't even tell you HOW MANY HOURS OF WORK this took: 3 hours of makeup for me and 6 for Ebay, plus 2 hours of shoot time and God knows how much editing but WE BROUGHT. THE CLONE WARS DUELS. TO LIFE!!
Obi-Wan and Maul's rivalry and relationship is SO SO COMPELLING I think bringing him back for tcw was one of the coolest moves they could have done. I am always trying to top myself in shoots and I think we absolutely cleared it here!!
Bonus points for the much-needed Obi-Wan wig upgrade too. Put the money into getting a good wig folks, it matters!
