Баскетбольный клуб УНИКС подписал контракт с атакующим защитником/легким форвардом Элайджей СТЮАРТОМ (196 см, 88 кг). Соглашение с 30-летним американцем рассчитано до конца сезона.
Нынешний сезон Стюарт начинал в составе клуба «Бней Герцлия». В текущем розыгрыше Лиги чемпионов свингмен в среднем набирал 19,4 очка, отдавал 3,6 передачи, совершал 3,2 подбора, 1,6 перехвата и 1,4 блок-шота при эффективности 18,6 балла за 33,2 минуты на площадке. Элайджа был лидером своей команды и одним из лидеров ЛЧ-2025/26 по результативности, эффективности, перехватам и блок-шотам. В 17 матчах чемпионата Израиля его средняя статистика составила 20,2 очка, 4,4 подбора, 3,9 ассиста, 1,1 блок-шота и 0,9 перехвата за 34,2 минуты игрового времени.
Элайджа Стюарт — обладатель рекорда университета Южной Каролины по количеству реализованных трехочковых за всю историю (245). Американец проводит свой седьмой подряд сезон в Европе, успев стать лучшим снайпером чемпионата Израиля (2023/24), чемпионом Румынии и войти во вторую символическую пятерку Лиги чемпионов (2022). Он также играл в Италии, Польше, Финляндии и в G-лиге НБА за фарм-команды «Индианы Пэйсерс» и «Милуоки Бакс».

Honestly it was fun for like 3 days, but it’s been a month, it’s not really funny anymore… But I’ve been working on my body , fixing the things that were bothering me during the season and I used this time to grow as person, expand my business, see friends , travel and network. It’s been a “when life gives you lemon , make beef stew type of thing” and honestly I feel better than ever!!! Physically and mentally 🕴🏽

It’s officially been a month since my MVP season was cut to an end… Crazy to think that every year something comes in the way of all the hard work I put into this game… I try and make light of it but it’s really hard mentally to stay motived, but if it was easy ya grandma would be doing it. I know better days are ahead!!!! 🫡

It’s been 2 weeks since the postponement of the season… Having all this happen around the week of the fiba break was something that really complicated things. Was stuck in Europe , made the list of us. Seen a lot I never thought I’d see, went places I’ve only read about online , it was truely a blessing. I now feel energized and ready for whatever comes next.
