Too many moments from the year to pick from so here are some bits. Moved to a cute cottage, left administration after a decade of wanting to, got into climbing for a time, continued to be bad at skateboarding, went to Spain, sold loadsa merch, saw my mates, spent time with my bears, engineered many gigs, somehow ended up being the palest and most awkward at the goth night, and saw @clowncoreinternet . There were some tough bits too, but overall it was a good one. Looking forward to starting 2026 as a full time techie (dream job wtf?!), running and climbing a whole bunch more, releasing some new music, and continuing to bring good vibes to every function. Survived a merch shift with a migraine, about 48 hours of acid reflux/being poisoned by hooch, the unspeakable trauma of the backstage camping protest poo-er, Jack forgetting the tent pegs a second year in a row, and Clown Core. Hey friends! Hope ur good! I have news! I’m going full-time sound/visual tech eek. Made some big life changes recently and after about a decade of balancing lots of freelance tech work with an unrelated 9-5 it’s more than time to take the plunge and just do what I love to do, for a living. It’s a bit scary, it feels so against what I “should” be doing in a lot of ways. But at the same time, I feel so excited that things have worked out this way. I guess I just wanted to leave a little note here to say keep going, the world is very shit right now so if there is anything in it that brings you joy it’s more important than ever to squeeze as much of the good stuff as you can from those things - because then you’re better placed to share that goodness with others. Anyways, if you’re in a band and you want sound for your live show or your songs recorded and/or mixed hit me up & I’ll give you mates rates if ur sound!! These first couple pics are from @ywmpoxford fundraiser event - they’re still fundraising for their new space that’s going to be amazing so send ur money their way if you can 💰.
