Earlier this year we had the great pleasure of travelling over the Manchester moors, dropping into Slaithwaite, West Yorkshire.

As part of an exciting, huge renovation plan, we were commissioned by @thehandmadebakery , a riverside gem, to create their main display system, a bunch of tables and an island unit.
.
Collaborating closely with architect @joeandco___ and the bakery team themselves on the designs, our goal was to introduce warmth and character to the space, through robust, functional furniture.

The welcome desk at The Whitworth. We worked closely with the gallery team to create multifunctional and accessible visitor welcome experience. Handmade ceramic border tiles inspired by the building’s exterior brickwork line the front edge of the desk and locally felled London Plane hardwood creates the slatted front.
