At Easy Jose, we're thrilled to welcome a new community and a new coffee.
High in the misty highlands of Chiapas, the Tzeltal have farmed this land for generations, surrounded by forest. Here, coffee isn't just grown. It's woven into the land, the culture, and the daily lives of the families who tend it.
Their farms, often under two hectares, are carved into steep mountain terrain. Coffee grows in the company of fruit trees, corn, and beans, sheltered by the canopy above. Inputs are homemade — compost from fallen leaves, pest control from chilli and lime, knowledge passed down through generations.
In the cup — hazelnut, brown sugar, vanilla, lemon.
