a gentle reminder that our song Mixtape has been out in the world for a week already! here's a glimpse of the various places and faces that contributed to shape it 𓏲ּ𝄢 with love, east sister
Mixtape is out today! it‘s our lovesong to music because oh how wonderful it is to find solace, joy and mystery in that realm, these parralel rooms, worlds, that songs can be. (especially when the world is this world and you‘ve had it with crushes on people for a bit :>)

We’re soon releasing another song!
It’s called 𝑴𝒊𝒙𝒕𝒂𝒑𝒆 and it is about the mix you make for your secret crush, with all those amazing songs that, once they reach your crush’s ears, will definitely make them fall in love with you. We used to do that on cassettes, CDs, and also sent via MSN for mp3 players. What about you? Which song was your best argument that you have an incredible taste in music and are just an amazing human being?

1st song RMB is out!
it’s about hope and patience and very much about how to say farewell. it‘s an ode to friendship, to bearing weight together and a good song for holding-hands season we think.
our album recording process was accompanied by many goodbyes, there was so much grief around us. it somehow hasn’t changed, but perhaps transformed here and there…
take care*

realised that this reads like a diary entry from our grandmothers* ::)🧚🏻 = took it as a good sign:
"we were getting used to the sound deers make (from unsettled to amused)
besides that, the evenings were always very calm around the cottage. usually in the late afternoons the fog from the valley would almost reach us, these were spectacles, or at least we made spectacles out of it."
* call them if you can/wish :))
heioo what has everyone been up to?
we’ve been around, recorded, created, discarded, played and drummed and talked, laughed and mourned, heartbrokenly frozen in disbelieve at times. listened, learned, tried to care more. felt pain and anger. found, then failed again at finding ways to channel it, found ways to shout, and sometimes managed to sing and harmonize. counted deers, read, walked, chopped carrots, tried to be kind etc…
so we’ve always loved the vague
the gradient
the ambiguous
but sometimes it’s necessary to find clear words, and this is a heartfelt reminder for all of us, keep saying it when it’s quiet around you. let’s use our voices if/when we can. after so long, it’s devastatingly still:
