Looping and rolling into the sunset high above Telemark — surely one to remember. Pushing my personal limits, as I’m actually not that keen on flying, but overcoming boundaries and experiencing something like this is what I’m all about. The magical moments you can store deep in your warmest place. And of course, experiencing Telemark in a completely new way and perspective. We pulled a lot of G’s, and I’m happy I already had some training from the jet. But this was still next level, as we pulled some serious maneuvering over the archipelago. Vår Yak-52✨ Posted @withregram • @maquinas_aereas PARTE 6: O segundo avião soviético de David Gilmour foi outro Yakovlev, o Yak-52, um modelo para treinamento básico produzido a partir de 1979. O exemplar de Gilmour, o c/n 9111505, foi entregue originalmente à Sociedade de Voluntários para Cooperação com o Exército, Aviação e Frota (DOOSAF) em 1991. Foi adquirido pelo guitarrista em junho de 1994, quando recebeu o registro G-BVOK. Permaneceu em sua coleção até 2002, quando foi sendo seguidamente vendido a pelo menos três colecionadores ingleses. Em 2014 foi vendido a Russian Warbirds of Norway, associação norueguesa dedicada a preservação de aviões soviéticos. Agora com o registro LN-HDA, esse avião ainda se apresenta regularmente em shows aéreos. .
