They smashed their double bill home performances last week here at The EA Studio and we wish them all the luck this weekend as they transfer their shows to @thegarage theatre Norwich as part of NT Connections Festival.

โOur Freedom: Then and Nowโ has moved on to the second part of its tour and Iโm delighted to share itโs on display here in East Anglia until 12th June.
@easternangles was one of the venues I worked with for this commission by @futureartscentres@openeyegallery - we created theatre inspired portraits with the Young Company theatre group (one of which was on display @southbankcentre ) and a visual response to their audio tour of the Westgate ward of Ipswich (part of the touring exhibition).
Itโs great to see it on display at Eastern Angles (albeit on a very rainy day!) - please do pop in and visit to see the wide range of amazing imagery close up.
This is one set of the three pods touring round, so it only features a selection of the overall exhibition; itโs brilliant to see my work with @colchartscentre also showcased.

James has written multiple episodes of 'EastEnders' and audio plays for BBC Radio 4. He is an Arvon writing tutor, playwriting teacher for the National Theatre's New Views Programme and lectures in creative writing at The University of East Anglia.

From this I captured a range of images of their fantastic building, an old school, and the surrounding area. Within the final design you can read snippets of the words spoken within the audio tour.
This main image is featured within the touring exhibition and will be displayed at a variety of galleries, museums and community spaces around the country.
(I didnโt take a great photo of this at the @southbankcentre launch event but Iโm looking forward to seeing it again in person at @easternangles itself!)
