Here are 3 things you can change instantly:
1. Take Breaks
Set a timer for every hour of work. Step away from your mix, take a short walk, or do something around the house. Giving your ears and brain time to reset helps you return with a more accurate sense of balance and perspective.
2. Use References Correctly
Use reference tracks as a guide, not a target you blindly chase. Focus on overall balance, tonal character, and energy rather than trying to match every detail exactly.
3. Improve Your Room
