the oddli tables 🌀
last week, i designed and built a dinner party for the launch of @oddli undies ⭐️
the space: west facing and adorably empty
the goal: a community oriented dinner for women in oddli’s world to connect
i knew that the dinner was going to be held between the hours of 5-8. in this time, the light would change drastically in the space. the three oddli tables, built in 2 days uses oddli’s deadstock fabric as a vessel for light. a metaphor that feels truer and truer the more i chew on it. oddli is a company that is highly sensitive to their surroundings and industry. i wanted to fill their space with objects that represented their soft underbelly (a needed quality in the fashion industry). things that will adapt and grow with them.

the “board and bat” house - i was lucky enough to work on this full renovation on the east end. i loved seeing this place transform inch by inch, every day. huge thank you to the hands that put it together, board by board and stone by stone! & huge thanks to the folks that brought me on! this house is toasty, sensible and fun - everything i want to touch… slanje va, she’s off to her new family ⋆｡°✩
