Celebrating Leadership in Early Language Learning
NNELL was honored to present Amanda Seewald, Executive Director of JNCL-NCLIS, with the 2025 NNELL Award for Outstanding Support of Early Language Learning at ACTFL.
Amanda also delivered a powerful and inspiring keynote titled “Coloring Outside the Lines."
She reminded us that language educators build trust, open curiosity, and create spaces where students feel seen, valued, and capable of belonging. Her message centered on fostering human connection and honoring the voices of our learners.
