Mostly recorded in my old apartment and then @kennnnnyyyyy_ ‘s current apartment. Got some beautiful help from some beautiful people along the way.

“Before You Leave My Side” is out in the world. Recorded (like the rest of the EP) in my old apartment in the late hours of the night and early hours of the morning when things feel thin but suspiciously heavy.

Couldn’t have got this song to where it is without @kennnnnyyyyy_ who not only helped mix and produce and master the whole EP, but also laced this tune with some of the chunkiest synth known to man.

Shot this music video pre-pandemic. Timing in life is not as easy as timing in music. The song “Tomorrow” probably would have been the single from my old EP but I didn’t release a single and this vid has been cooling its heels for quite a while. Directed by @paulmoceyhanton and produced by @jonwaltermoceyhanton and I had a little host of friends drop fake flowers on me from a perch.
The first single from the new EP comes out on Friday.
Alright, we’re playing our first show in nearly 2 years on Monday (THIS MONDAY). Got asked yesterday so y’all get about as much notice as I did. Thanks so much to the good folks at @safetravelspresents and @thewitchinghours and @residentdtla for having us - I keep using pluralities but due to the fact that it’s 48 hours from now, it will be a solo acoustic set. Gonna play the new EP and then some. Opening for my buddy @emmaayzenberg which is a dream.
Doors at 8pm, I (we) start at 8:30. It’s free. Do attend.
