Last month to see ‘Nightfall Hymn’ @rijksmuseum_twenthe “In the idea of dying, decomposition, and being reabsorbed into the earth, Van Acker finds something beautiful and melancholic. At the same time, her work also evokes associations with the raw, primal forces of nature.” *Text from exhibition - During ‘Nowhere but nature’ until the 31st of January Already looking back on this amazing opportunity, and looking forward to more exciting things to come this year. Thank you all for visiting the big weeping willow at Prospects during Art Rotterdam. My goal was to illustrate the resilience of nature in inhospitable times, and to let it offer you a glimmer of light in the dark. The show was curated by @elvisgustavsson and @daphneverberg Big thanks to the Mondriaan fund team: Michelle Schulkens, Ariane Boogaard, Oekje van Asten, Esmée Ruijgrok, Milo Vermeire, the technical team at Ahoy and many more @mondriaanfonds Thank you Sarah van Binsbergen for writing about my work in the publication. Thank you @wout.vdhorst for working your magic on this, I could not have done it without you. Special thanks to @anne_wenzel and @lilasonntag for your knowledge, resources and time. And all my lovely friends and my partner for all the physical and mental support during production and buildup 🖤 Pictures by @tommysmits.tommysmits “Walloway” 2026 Ceramic and steel

“Apoptosis” has come to an end, and with that, so has our residency @ponti.space We spent over two months in Antwerp and grew to love the city and the people who live there. We already reminisce about our time there. Here are some pictures of our show during the opening. Thank you to everyone for visiting. A big thanks to @beaus.tollenwerk @davidvrmrn @yoerivanlangendonck of @ponti.space for carving out the time and place for this experience. Thank you, @adriana.joelle for your beautiful performance during our opening and as part of the Ruis festival, and @jessev.e for providing all the graphic design materials. Pictures by Lennert Berx

At the end of March I will be showing new work at this year’s Prospects exhibition during Art Rotterdam. The Mondriaan Fund granted me the Artist Start Grant back in 2024, and I’m really looking forward to finally showing you this sculpture. The process has been just as technically challenging as it has been fun. I’ve been living on a black and white, clay and metal dusty cloud. I would love to see your face and have a chat. See you there. 27th until the 29th of March. ﹏﹏﹏ @mondriaanfonds @art_rotterdam #mondriaanfund #artrotterdam

‘Magnetic pull’ (2025) Ceramic and steel Detail The “eyes” on birch trees are the healed scars from its fallen branches. Over time, the tree sheds its lower limbs, leaving behind a watchful gaze that lingers throughout the forest. During ‘Space delivered empty’ at Projectspace 3840 Pics by @r_speijer

‘Magnetic pull’ (2025) Ceramic and steel I find myself walking in the forest among the birch trees. I sink into a familiar rhythm. Staring into the abyss of repetition, something twists out of shape, spiraling in front of my eyes. Reality thins and frays, yet I feel a quiet calm among the birch trees.
