🚒 BREAKING: Firefighters remain at the scene after a huge blaze tore through Parkway Middle School in Haverhill overnight.
Part of the derelict building collapsed during the fire, with crews battling the flames through the night.
Witnesses reported seeing thick black smoke from miles away, while a former pupil called it “a sad day for Haverhill”.

Two historic homes were damaged after a major fire broke out in Crown Street, Bury St Edmunds yesterday 🚒
Station manager Adam Eagle has thanked crews for their response after 11 fire engines were called to the scene, where the blaze spread between two properties.
🐶 Firefighters also rescued a dog from one of the homes, with no casualties reported.

Thirteen people have been arrested following protests outside RAF Lakenheath this morning 🚨
Officers were called shortly after 6am after demonstrators locked themselves to vehicles at the main gate, with further gatherings at two other entrances.
Those arrested are being questioned on suspicion of offences including locking on, conspiracy to cause a public nuisance and criminal damage.
