Young men face the highest risk of gambling harm. In Australia, a country with the highest betting losses in the world, you don’t have to look far to see why. It’s in our ads, our sport, our bars and our social media feeds. But gambling companies are targeting something deeper: ideas about masculinity, confidence and what it means to belong as a man in the world. Our latest article sheds light on the constant pressure boys and men face, and why protecting them from the industry is the first step we need to take. Take a look at the link in our bio. . . . #gamblingsupport

Better care happens at home — and Health@Home Pathways is making this possible for more people living with chronic conditions 💙 As registered nurses and health coaches, the team provide specialised in-home support, connect clients with trusted community services, and educate them on managing their day-to-day health. For clients like Darryl, this has meant convenient care and support, fewer hospital visits, and the freedom to continue living well at home. Fun fact: your mind needs movement too 🏋️🏃🏽‍♀️ As Joel, an Occupational Therapist from our Refresh Your Mind program, shares — keeping your mind active as you age can be as simple as: • gently challenging yourself • building productive routines • using a diary to organise your thoughts

Abseiling asks a lot. It calls for trust in yourself, the equipment, and the people around you. It’s about meeting fear and choosing to take the next step anyway 🧗🏽‍⛰️ Last week, our adventure therapy team WILD spent the day guiding participants from @openhousecic through an abseiling experience at Seven Acre Rock, Victoria. Team Leader Matt shared that the day began with a walk through forest and ancient tree ferns before reaching the Seven Acre Rock outcrop. From there, the group completed two descents, starting with a technical drop of around 12 metres and building up to a 50‑metre abseil, with views stretching all the way to Western Port Bay. Experiences like these offer a supported way to step outside your comfort zone, and the everyone did a great job taking on the challenge. Thanks to @deeca_vic , @Outdoors Victoria and @DEECA Greater Melbourne for them possible! #DiscoverOurForests #YarraStateForest #DEECA #SevenAcreRock

We’ve all heard flossing is important, but are you doing it the right way? While brushing helps keep your teeth clean, it only does 60% of the job. That’s why learning to floss is so important. Doing this daily takes care of the spaces between your teeth, supporting healthy gums and your beautiful smile. Quor and Maggie, Oral Health Therapists from our Smile Squad team, are here to show you how 😁🪥

Wirri Girri means ‘messenger’ in the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people. At Each, Wirri Girris help connect teams across the organisation with First Nations culture, knowledge and ways of being 💛 Recently Murryann (Annie), Head of First Nations Capability & Engagement, and James, Regional Cultural Lead, brought our Wirri Girris and Reconciliation Action Plan team members together for a shared cultural experience. Through dance and music, the group explored storytelling shaped by Country, animals and the landscape. Their wonderful performance depicted traditional Community life, with women and men gathering around a waterhole. It was a beautiful day of listening, learning and connection, something participants can now carry with them and share with others.

Did you know Victoria is one of the most culturally diverse places in the world? This is an amazing thing, bringing different experiences, perspectives and ways of being together. But it isn’t always reflected in the healthcare people receive. Together, we can help change that. The Victorian Multicultural Health Survey invites people from multicultural communities to share their feelings on the healthcare system, including: • the health issues that matter most to them • what their experiences using services have been like • how the system could work better for them It only takes 15-20 minutes to complete, is completely anonymous, and available in multiple languages. Every response helps shape a future of culturally safe and inclusive care ❤️ Know someone who might want to take part? Please share this with your community and help make sure multicultural voices are heard. To start the survey, click the link in our bio.

Recently, we had the pleasure of supporting @eachcommunity at the Knox Community Festival, providing our single-use instruments to help deliver free dental check-ups to local children. During the festival, the team was able to screen nearly 120 children - an outstanding outcome for the local community. We’re proud to have supported an initiative that combined essential healthcare access with such a vibrant community experience. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Each and collaborating again in the future. A big thank you to the team for the incredible work you do👏 Link in bio to full article🔗

When someone is struggling with addiction, the isolation can be overwhelming. Stigma, shame and misunderstanding often make people feel invisible — as though no one truly sees or understands what they’re going through. In these moments, kindness and compassion go a long way. As our Alcohol and Other Drugs team leader Sharon shared, they have the power to help people find their spark again 💛
