Je vous ai harcelés pour le passage de @knockedloosehc à l’ @aerolille mais soyons francs, à venue exceptionnelle, dispositif exceptionnel ! Du coup, j’étais ultra chaud pour la venue des américains sur une date comprenant 3 autres groupes. Et bordel, ce show n’a pas déçu ! La violence sonore à l’état brut, guerre totale en fosse, je n’ai pas résisté, j’y suis moi-même allé afin de capturer de cette énergie D-I-N-G-O qui a tant découlé de la scène au public. 🇬🇧 I’ve been pestering you about #knockedloose’s appearance at #aeroneflille, but let’s face it, it was such an incredible gig ! So I was really looking forward for that one. And boy, this show did NOT disappoint ! Un constat s’est imposé à moi, @frankcarter23 @andtherattlesnakes sont le groupe que j’ai le plus vu sur scène. Et oui, de la première tournée au dernier album, j’ai vu sur chaque album la formation 1 à 3 fois. Alors les voir terminer ce chapitre à l’ @aerolille où j’office pleinement, c’était pour moi aussi très symbolique. Je me souviens encore d’un passage au Main Square Festival où je signalais alors aux collègues qui ne les connaissent pas qu’ils devaient venir voir ça, qu’il allaient en prendre plein les dents. 7 ans plus tard, les anglais n’ont pad changé leur mantra d’un iota. La générosité du groupe encore et encore, sur scène et en dehors, comme quand Frank Carter investit littéralement la fosse de l’Aéronef pour y organiser un circle pit de malades, qu’il organise un mosh pit pour les femmes (ce qu’il faisait déjà il y a 10 ans) ou encore ce gamin anglais qu’il fera monter sur scène pour chanter « Crowbar » avec lui. Alors, au moment de retoucher et publier ces photos, on est un peu nostalgiques d’un groupe qui s’arrête (Frank partant tourner avec les Sex Pistols), on pense déjà à l’annonce de la reformation pour, à nouveau, se faire retourner par le nerveux anglais et son acolyte de toujours Dean Richardson. Merci messieurs, QUEL FINAL c’était ! Sûrement l’un des meilleurs concerts auquel j’ai pu assister tous artistes confondus. Et à concert d’exception, matériel d’exception, merci @sigmafrance pour cet incroyable 28-105 f2,8 ! 🤯 🇬🇧 #Frankcarter And the Rattlesnakes are the band I’ve seen live the most. Yes, from the first tour to the last album, I saw the band 1 to 3 times on each album. So seeing them end this chapter at #aeroneflille was also very symbolic for me. So yes, I was editing and now publishing these photos, I’m a little bit nostalgic for a band that’s coming to an end (Frank leaving to tour with the Sex Pistols) I’m already thinking about the announcement of the reformation, only to be turned upside down once again by the nervous Englishman and his long-time sidekick Dean Richardson. 🤔 Je travaille pour 1£ symbolique ?

Cela faisait un petit moment que je guettais une éventuelle venue de @Joolsbandjools en France, carrément emballé par leur premier disque Violent Delights sorti en 2025, je vous cache pas que j’étais refait quand la salle a annoncé leur programmation. Quelques messages plus tard, nous avons fini par nous caler un moment et faire quelques portraits dans l’entrée de la salle. Ne voulant jamais abuser du temps accordé par les groupes qui sortent souvent de scène dans ces moments-là, on essaie alors de faire simple et efficace. Même si j’ai profite de la gentillesse du groupe pour faire une variante de portrait plus spécifique à la salle. ;-)� 🇬🇧 I’d been keeping an eye out for a while to see if #Joolsband might come to France; I was absolutely blown away by their debut album *Violent Delights*, released in 2025, so I won’t lie – I was over the moon when the venue announced they were on the line-up. A few messages later, we managed to find a quiet moment and snap a few portraits in the venue’s entrance hall. As we never want to take up too much of the time given by bands, who often leave the stage at such moments, we try to keep things simple and efficient. Although I did take advantage of the band’s kindness to take a portrait that was more specific to the venue. ;-)

@joolsbandjools était enfin de passage en France et tout particulièrement à l’ @aerolille pour un samedi de fête et de rock ! Et on ne peut pas dire que le groupe ait déçu, bien au contraire, de l’énergie à revendre, un duo au chant qui ne cesse d’arpenter la scène de long en large, d’interpeler le public, des titres aimparables à revendre, clairement au niveau des attentes que j’avais du groupe après avoir regardé plusieurs lives de festival. Mon conseil, ne les loupez pas s’ils passent près de chez vous ! ;) 🇬🇧 #joolsband finally made it to France, and specifically to #aeroneflille, for a Saturday of partying and rock! And I can’t say the band disappointed – quite the opposite, in fact. They had energy to spare, a vocal duo who never stopped pacing the stage up and down, engaging the crowd, and a wealth of unforgettable tracks. They clearly lived up to the expectations I had of them after watching several festival performances. My advice: don’t miss them if they’re playing near you!

Hier, c’était la venue de @bigthiefmusic à l’ @aerolille et quel concert ! Pourtant pas versé dans la folk, difficile de nier la qualité d’un set qui fut d’une fluidité musicale totale, c’est bien simple, je n’ai pas vu passer l’heure 45 de concert offert par le quatuor. Une belle occasion de cocher un grand nom de la folk indé et ainsi comprendre le succès autour d’une formation ultra prolifique, que cela soit en tant que Big Thief mais aussi à titres individuels. 🇬🇧 Yesterday, #bigthief played at #aeroneflille – and what a gig! Although I’m not usually into folk, it’s hard to deny the quality of a set that flowed seamlessly; quite simply, the 90 minutes of music performed by the quartet flew by. It was a great opportunity to tick off a big name in indie folk and understand the success surrounding this incredibly prolific band, both as Big Thief and as individual artists.

Les mythiques @strikeanywhereofficial étaient de passage au @betizfest_officiel avec leur punk rock engagé et antifasciste. Un set très cool qui n’a pas manqué de mettre l’ambiance dans la fosse ! 🇬🇧 The legendary #strikeanywhere stopped by #betizfest with their socially conscious, anti-fascist punk rock. A brilliant set that really got the crowd going !

Les autrichiens de @insanityalert sont venus nous régaler de leur crossover trash punk parodie pour retourner le palais des grottes lors de cette édition 2026 du @betizfest_officiel . Mission réussite avec des interludes qui tenaient autant de l’animation du club Med de l’enfer que du stand up ! Pas étonnant qu’ils soit programmés au @hellfestopenair 2026 ! 🇬🇧 The Austrians from #insanityalert came to treat us to their parodic trash punk crossover, bringing the house down at the Palais des Grottes during the 2026 edition of #betizfest_. Mission accomplished, with interludes that were as much like Club Med entertainment from hell as they were stand-up comedy! No wonder they’re booked to play at #hellfestopenair 2026!

Si le zbeul était un groupe, je crois que ce serait @poesiezero mais en mode shlag. Faut pas trop en demander à des gauchistes fainéants intermittents du spectacle. Ha pour mettre l’ambiance y’a du monde, pour faire du punk rigolo énervé y’a du monde, mais pour voter Bruno Retailleau et sauver la France y’a plus PERSONNE ! Alors allez écouter parce qu’après ils vont chouiner qu’ils ne font pas leurs heures d’intermittence pour acheter de la drogue. On les connait les groupes de gauche qui mettent l’ambiance comme lors de cette édition 2026 du @betizfest_officiel ! BREFFE, S’ÉTAIT NUL. Mais vachement drôle. Et d’ailleurs, qui c’est qui va ramasser les confettis qu’ils ont tout salopé ? Sûrement d’autres intermittents du spectacle ! ILS SONT PARTOUT.

@shaarghot_official était clairement l’un des groupes les plus attendus de cette édition 2026 du @betizfest_officiel et ils n’ont clairement pas déçu ! Que ce soit sur scène avec leur registre indus-metal-steam-punk efficace que dans le domaine visuel, avec ce qui a été sûrement le set le plus visuel de ce week-end. 🇬🇧 #shaarghot were undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated acts at this year’s #betizfest, and they certainly didn’t disappoint ! Whether on stage with their powerful industrial-metal-steampunk sound or visually, with what was surely the most visually stunning set of the weekend.

Hier, c’était la première date de résidence des @franz_ferdinand à l’ @aerolille et quel plaisir de revoir @alkapranos avec sa formation en salle ! Je ne les avais croisés qu’en festival mais avec la même conclusion. Des riffs bien palpés, une énergie indéniable et une communication avec le public qui démontre toute l’expérience du groupe venu défendre son dernier album « The Human Fear ». La date parfaite pour attaquer sa semaine de la meilleure manière possible. 🇬🇧 Yesterday was the first night of @franz_ferdinand ’s residency at the Aeronef (Lille), and what a treat it was to see Alex Kapranos and his band live again! I’d only ever seen them at festivals before, but the verdict was the same. Solid riffs, undeniable energy and a connection with the audience that really shows the experience of a band out to promote their latest album, ‘The Human Fear’. The perfect gig to kick off the week in the best possible way.
