These past weeks I was able to make my way though Jerez, Rioja, Bordeaux and a few more areas plus catch up with some old friends and make new ones along the way. I am very grateful to @gerardbassetfoundation for helping me setup this trip and allowing me to immerse myself more in these wine regions that I usually only get the chance to read about 📚🍷
Here in Guatemala for a quick second, but got to completely surprise my parents at 6am today. This is my moms reaction ❤️(she also says excuse the bed head)

Haven’t done an actual post in a while but I finally made it out for Thai Taco Tuesday @anajakthaifood and it’s always a privilege to eat at this LA institution that’s been around for close to 40 years. Justin and the teams hospitality makes you feel like you’re part of the family. I highly recommend coming here to eat all the things if you haven’t been by before ❤️🍾 Me, @hugoalejandrobolanos and @obolanos look forward to doing a collab with them down the line 🤤

I got flowers today from the LA Somm community! Apparently I didn’t do a terrible job as a mentor for blind tasting! 🙃 I’m always happy to give back to the wine community, just like it gave to me when I started learning about wine. Props as always to @cristienorman_somm for doing so much for the LA somm community!
