🎥Episode 2: Meet Rabiu Mustapha.
He tells us, with quiet pride, how farming gave him his first car. Not a grant. Not a gift. Just farming.
But not everything grows the way we expect.
He talks about “Sharon” — the pest known as Tuta absoluta.
When it strikes, it doesn’t knock.
It invades. And within a day or two, everything he’s worked for can be lost. Just like that — the crops no longer hold value.
Still, Rabiu smiles.
Still, he dreams.
He prays that if Allah gives him children, they’ll learn to farm too. Because for him, farming is more than income — it’s identity. It’s legacy.
And this is why I tell these stories.
Because the heart of agriculture isn’t just in the soil — it’s in the people.

He walks his wheat field with pride despite fuel hikes, water struggles, and everything in between.
🎥Episode 1: Meet Abdullahi Garba, a wheat farmer from Kura, Kano State.
Seeing that farming was profitable and fulfilling for his predecessors, he followed the same path. He knows it’s not all sweet — it comes with rough edges.
He talked about the fuel hike affecting his irrigation system, the stress of finding water… yet despite it all, he still wants his kids to take over the farm.
What really struck me was how proud he was moving from one end of his wheat field to the other, showing us how well the wheat had grown 🌾
