Two years in, and our Green Weeks just keep growing. 💚 In the past few weeks, we came together for 15+ events and volunteering activities around the world.
During the Green Weeks, our offices rolled out reusable lunchboxes, ran countless cleaning events, planted herbs, and took on green challenges. Dynatracers gathered for sustainable lunches and picnics, swapped clothes, brewed kombucha, learned sustainable gift wrapping, and even toured local recycling stations. ♻️
Thanks to our Green Team for making it happen.

Earth Day = Green Weeks kickoff at Dynatrace. 🌱
Powered by our Green Team, Green Weeks bring a lineup of events to Dynatracers around the globe. One of them? This park clean-up near our Vienna Office—made possible by our volunteer time-off program, so Dynatracers can show up for the causes and communities that matter to them. 🤲

AI is changing how software is built.
It’s also creating an explosion in telemetry data.
Most teams are struggling to keep up. Costs are rising. Data is fragmented. And it’s getting harder to trust the signals behind AI-driven decisions.
That’s why Dynatrace announced its intent to acquire Bindplane.
This brings a new level of control to how telemetry is collected, processed, and routed before it reaches observability platforms.

Meet Magdalena — Data Scientist leading our R&D teams behind the Dynatrace Intelligence, co-founder of Female Coders, and one of those people who gives up their Saturdays so other women can find their way into tech. 💜🧑💻
Six years ago, she joined a group of friends to create a space where women could try programming, build confidence, and connect with people already working in the industry. That idea became @femalecoderslinz — and this March, they hosted their 7th hackathon in Linz, the hometown of our Engineering Headquarters.
36 participants. 15 mentors. 11 projects. One day.
Mentors — including seven Dynatracers — supported participants in developing prototypes across four tracks: AI, web development, app development, and a free track. Teams built everything from a habit-forming game to an IoT device that tracks endometriosis symptoms.
For Magdalena, the magic is always in the same place: watching people team up and build something meaningful from scratch in a single day.
“It’s inspiring to see what’s possible within one day, with people who mainly don’t know each other.”
But beyond the hackathon, there’s a bigger purpose. Female Coders exists to give more women a safe space to try programming, learn, and build their network. “Honestly, our wish is that this organization wouldn’t be necessary. But the reality is that women are still underrepresented in IT.”
The ripple effect is real: several women who first showed up as participants have since joined #Dynatrace, and some came back this year as mentors. 🚀
That’s the kind of impact that keeps Magdalena coming back, year after year.

“Growth isn’t linear, and none of us succeed alone. The power of a strong support network, a healthy work environment like at Dynatrace, and communities like The D2 Collective make all the difference.” — Chiara Corticelli, Customer Success Engineer at Dynatrace.
Chiara took the stage at the latest @thed2collective meetup, hosted at our Barcelona office in the iconic Torre Glòries. Alongside three inspiring leaders — Anastasia Yavorska, SVP People at SPD Technology, Fiona Garvey, CEO at Softonic, and Maura Nardacci, Regional Sales Director at Semrush — she joined a fireside conversation about navigating career growth as a woman in the tech industry.

#DynatraceLife
Hi, my name is Zofia. I’m a Sr Software Engineer and Product Owner at Dynatrace. I started my engineering journey studying computer science, where women made up just 10% of the class. Today, I love my career in tech, and I’d love to see many more talented women thrive in this industry. 👩💻
One thing I learned early on is that it’s not just representation that matters, but the team culture behind it.
During my interview at #Dynatrace, I met senior engineers—both men and women—who spoke so openly and enthusiastically about their team and work. Seeing the dynamic between the interviewers and how they interacted made me excited about the role and confident that this would be a place where I could grow.
Mentorship has also been a constant throughout my career. 🌱
From the very beginning at Dynatrace, I was encouraged to find a mentor, and I’ve had one ever since. Having someone to learn from and challenge me helped me build expertise, take ownership of the features, and grow from a mid-level role into a Senior Engineer and Product Owner.
Today, I’m both a mentee and mentor in our Global Mentoring Program, and I’m also involved in the Power Girls initiative for students at Dynatrace. I truly believe that the more you give, the more you gain. I learn so much from my mentees, and many moments in this role make me feel proud of them and hopeful for the future.
If there’s one thing I’d love fellow women to take from this post, it’s something I also share with my mentees:
Go to interviews. Attend meetups. Meet people. Apply, even if you’re not sure you’re a perfect fit. Doubts will always be there. But the growth, confidence, and connections you gain in return are worth it.
