I figured it was time to re-introduce myself since there are so many new faces here lately!!
I’m Brooke — I love doing low maintenance color, blonding, and extensions ✨ I recently made the transition into my own salon suite @strabellafargo  and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Creating a space that feels calm, comfortable, and truly mine has been such a dream.
I just wanted to say thank you to all of my clients for being so supportive and flexible during this transition. Whether you’ve been with me since the beginning or just recently found my page, I appreciate every single one of you more than you know 🤍
A few random things about me:
• I’m getting married in June to the love of my life 🥹
• I have 3 cats that fully run the house
• I’m a huge plant mama 🌿
• You’ll probably catch me drinking a Monster at 6pm
• You’ll almost always find me in a baggy t-shirt & leggings because comfort is my priority lol
My goal behind the chair is always to make you feel comfortable, confident, and like your best self while creating hair that fits your lifestyle. I’m always down for a quiet appointment whether you need to work on your computer, decompress for a few hours, or just enjoy some silence — honestly those are some of my favorite appointments 🤍 But if you wanna yap the entire time, I’m always down for that too lol.

A little reintroduction ✨
Starting off year four by officially running my own business!
Between being a mom to my sweet (and sassy) two year old, planning a wedding for next spring, and growing behind the chair, life has been full but so rewarding.
As I transitioned into a new location, I just want to thank every single one of you who has continued to support me, book with me, refer me, and believe in me. It never goes unnoticed 🤍
If you’re looking for a new stylist in the #fargo #moorhead location I specialize in lived-in color, blonding, and extensions, and I’m so excited for everything still to come. So thank you to everyone who’s sat in my chair and followed along on my journey. I couldn’t do it without all of you.💕

I’ll be honest - I’m praying this post is well received because I can assure you that I’m coming from a place of immense love and light - but also I have anxiety that this may be misinterpreted.
As a member of a lot of makeup artistry groups on Facebook… I see a lot of things…
As a practicing makeup artist out IRL - in the wild - I hear a lot of things…
And they all have me… concerned. Very concerned.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer services for a wide range of skin types - but because we generally do not post photos or videos of bridesmaids - our array of clientele is not always well represented in our portfolios.
The amount of times I’ve had a fair complected client sit in my chair and say “Please don’t make me orange, everyone color matches me wrong and I turn orange immediately.”
OR - The Other End of the Skintone Spectrum
The amount of times I’ve had a stunning bridesmaid with dark complexion pull out their foundation because “Most artists don’t have a color deep enough for me.”
It breaks my heart. It actually makes me want to cry. No one should feel singled out or unwelcome in a service provider’s chair. Ever. Hard stop.
So… and this has been on my heart for a while… I’m trying to do something about it this within my business. I’m trying to have conversations with the clientele in my chair about past experiences. I’m trying to open the dialogue in our immediate service area.
Because here’s the thing - regardless of your skin type, tone, color, or texture - I want you to feel welcome in my chair.
I want you to be able to sit back, relax, and know you’ll be cared for.
I want you to know that we will get the color match right every time.
I want you to know it ISN’T normal to bring your own products. I want you to know your feedback matters.
And I want artists to know that building love and trust with clients across the spectrum begins with us + the experience we provide. 🫶🏼
