We were tight on time, but we were cruising along at this point. The Wine Wagon is a central character in the series, so once
@heyalmitra signed off on the vehicle, we had to get it created in the physical world (that’s for another post;
@cindyandmichele built the thing and it’s TREMENDOUS!) naturally, but it also figures into Miles Jr.’s Napa Boys comic book series! With some script cues and some fanboy inspiration, we started pitching these and realizing them for the comic convention that opens the show, and to show Puck (
@saraheramos ) deep fandom! I designed and illustrated “Milfonator!” and “Uncle!” While enlisting the help of
@emilie.zeug to create two more covers: “Switcheroo!” and my personal favorite that I don’t think made the cut: “EUROTRIP!” Lots of geeky Easter eggs here!
@jamar_neighbors (Stifler’s Brother) did some amazing paintings of these covers that he featured late last year when the film opened at
@mmadnesstiff so I would be remiss if I did not feature them here. There is a little look at my process of creating an FJ Cruiser in Adobe Illustrator, too.
