The EP of HOT16 remixes of tracks from Bodhikan’s Fresh Eyes are now streaming! Dylan Raasch (Bodhikan) is a producer and multi-instrumentalist who blends nostalgic ’70s–’80s influences with modern, atmospheric soundscapes. A founding member of Years Around The Sun, he created Bodhikan to explore personal, ethereal storytelling through music. His debut Fresh Eyes (2023) and The Hays Session EP (2025) with Harmony Hays capture this vision, weaving emotion and texture into timeless melodies. Raised in Southern California, Raasch taught himself guitar before moving into bass and electronic composition.
HOT16 builds sound from fragments of R&B, house, and hip-hop—crafting mixes that resonate at any volume. Based in Portland, his collaborations include Albina Music Trust x Liquid Beat, Fresh Selects (remixes for Reginald Chapman Jr. and Hosannas), and Thirsty City’s 10 Year Compilation. Grateful for the chance to contribute to meaningful projects and work with artists pushing sound forward, HOT16 remains dedicated to building community through music—and ensuring every mix feels as good as it sounds. One of the very first artists I was inspired by growing up was Georgia O’Keeffe, so getting to walk through her Abiquiu home was unreal. Standing in her studio created a surreal connection to all of her paintings and the beautiful nature that inspired them.
