Got to work on this sleeve we started a while ago. Pretty much all of this healed except the color and we added some more black into the background with the time we had available.
I started this probably 5-6 years ago. Tattooing is a craft where you’re constantly learning and finding new techniques. Discovering what works, and what doesn’t.
In the time between starting this tattoo and now, I’ve learned to kick up the contrast. I’ve learned to add more black into the background/ wind bars. While still utilizing smooth light greys for the clouds.
I wouldn’t call this finished, I’d like to have another session to kick up the contrast on the entire background. Hopefully I can make a trip to visit Jakajah soon and get this sleeve completed.

David drove from Arizona to Vegas, go tattooed for 8hrs every session, sat like a champ, was an absolute pleasure to work with, and drove all the way back afterwards

We referenced his dog for the inner arm, adding some samurai armor and blue lightning streaks flowing from its eyes

Wrapped up this clipper ship sleeve for Amador recently
He had some existing tattoos that he wanted to incorporate into a full sleeve
We added the roses, the clipper ship, clouds, waves, and background to this sleeve and tied it all together
