When I’m 90 this is where I’ll come when I close my eyes. To witness you mother our children is the honor of my life. I’ve loved you in every season of our lives together but this is by far my favorite, seeing you in your truest form. You are completely selfless and dedicated to giving our family the best of you at all times. I thank god for you everyday. Happy Mother’s Day @cicibme
As we celebrate the resurrection of our King today, it feels only fitting to share the arrival of our sweet girl, Georgina Scott Peterson 🌼 her middle name honoring my Father’s name. She joined us during Holy Week—4/2 at 9:11pm— weighing 8 lb 10 oz… a living reminder of God’s mercy and His profound love for us, even in the midst of life’s hardest moments.
In the quiet intensity of labor, He met me there. I felt Him whisper, “Let me show you what I want you to know.” And in the thick of my hardest contractions, I was reminded—He bore the greatest suffering for me, so I would never have to carry pain, large or small, alone.
Her birth felt like a sacred picture of transformation and healing, a gentle reminder that I have never been alone—not for a moment.
Thank you, Jesus, for the gift of her — healthy, whole, and ours.. For my sweet mama, who has cared for us so tenderly in this season. And for my incredible husband, who has carried me through my darkest moments paired with my sweetest moments and continues to love and protect us with such steady devotion.
In our last 3(ish) weeks as a family of 3 🥹🥺 soaking up every second with my guys especially my first born 💚 He’s going to be the best big brother ever.
